Camp leaders are an essential role in the day to day activities of Muskoka Wake Hui Camps. They are curators of fun and spread good vibes where ever they go!
The Camp Leader will work at Kid and Youth Day Camps, with campers between the ages of 8-17. They will be responsible for daily site set up and clean up to make sure all daily activities are organised. The Camp Leader will meet and greet parents at the start of each camp day during drop off and at the end for camper pick up. The Camp Leader will also have the responsibility of creating and running various team building activities, beach and water games, and the craft centre. Camp Leader's will be supervising campers on an ongoing basis throughout their camp experiences. Additionally, they will prepare and serve the daily snacks and lunch during our mid-day break. They will also be responsible at the end of the day to ensure all equipment, activities, crafts, and the food prep areas are cleaned and organized for the following day.
The Camp Leader will be supported by the Coordinator on a day-to-day basis and will have a monumental role in leading, developing and guiding our Leader-In-Training Program (LIT). They will support with training, scheduling and management of the volunteer team.
