C O V I D - 19
We would like to express our gratitude to our Wake Hui families and members of our team. We hope that you and your families are doing well during this challenging time. Our connections with you, our team members and the watersports community are where we find meaning and purpose as an organization.
We would like to assure you that the health and safety of your child(ren), our staff and our community is our top priority. In light of the constantly changing nature of COVID-19, we understand that there are many unanswered questions in regards to how the summer will look. Based on the advice of the Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Ontario Premier we are and will continue re-evaluating how our programming will be delivered. With this comes changes.
Currently, camp sessions are able to accommodate 12 campers per week with some adaptation to our regular programming. All of our staff and volunteers will undergo additional training around all new policies and procedures. We will continue looking at how we can best support our campers, making program changes as necessary based on Public Health advice.
Given the always evolving nature of COVID-19 and public policy, we will be regularly updating the Wake Hui Inc. Policy and Procedures as new information becomes available. Please find the detailed policy and procedures, by clicking the button below.
This summer will be one more step towards normalcy and is sure to be filled with watersports and excitement for the whole family!
It is the responsibility of all individuals/families to complete the "Self-Assessment Confirmation" every day prior to attending camp. It only takes a few minutes, but it will ensure the safest possible camp experience for everyone.
