The 2019 Contest Schedule will be very similar to last year's,
but make sure to check again closer to the contest for the official final details.
WAKEBOARD CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS:
NOVICE: Riders that are new to the contests scene and are just starting out. Riders in the division will do ollies, ollie 180s and hit small features like boxes and cheese wedges.
BEGINNER: Rider in this division are new to the contest scene and just starting out. Riders in the division will do basic flatwater tricks like ollies, ollie 180s, basic tricks off the kickers like grabs & 180s, boardslides or 50-50s on the rails. No inverts or spins more than 180.
INTERMEDIATE: Riders in the division are performing basic inverts and spins off the kickers (such as scarecrow, tantrum, backroll). No spins over a 360 are allowed. Riders are doing different variations on the rails (front board, 270 on, 270s off, transfer 50-50, etc.).
ADVANCED: Riders can perform spins that are up to a 540. More advanced flips will take place in this category. These will be flips that can also have a 180 spin added in rotation. No blind landings will be allowed on invert tricks and no back 540s. Rail tricks similar to the intermediate level will take place, with more variation and switch ups on the rails.
OPEN/PRO: Riders can perform any number of spins and flips throughout their run. All rail tricks are allowed.
WAKESKATE CATEGORY DESCRIPTIONS:
AMATEUR: Riders will be be performing tricks such as surface 180s, 360s, shov-it, ollies, lipslides and air tricks off the kicker. Basic rail tricks allowed.
OPEN: Riders can perform any tricks off water, kicker, or on the rails.
